Stanley Skreslet is a professor emeritus at Union Presbyterian Seminary. Before his retirement in 2024, he was F.S. Royster Professor of Christian Missions, and he served as academic dean (2010–2015). Before beginning as an associate professor at Union Presbyterian Serminary in 1997, he taught at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo (1989-1997; 1977-1979) and the College of Idaho (1985–89).
Dr. Skreslet's many publications include Constructing Mission History: Missionary Initiative and Indigenous Agency in the Making of World Christianity (2023), Comprehending Mission: The Questions Methods, Themes, Problems , and Prospects of Mission (2012), and Picturing Christian Witness: New Testament Images of Disciples in Mission (2006).
